MXR Classic 108 Fuzz
MXR announces the Classic 108 Fuzz, which (amazingly enough) turns out to be a... fuzz stompbox!
Aimed at delivering the familiar late-Sixties/early-Seventies crunch fuzz sound, the Classic 108 Fuzz is (according to MXR) based on sister company Jim Dunlop's own BC-108 loaded Fuzz Face. A few features were added though, such as a battery door, a possibility to use the pedal with an AC adapter, and true bypass with LED. The Buffer switch also eliminates the audible oscillation which was caused when some wah-wahs were placed in front of a Fuzz Face.
The Classic 108 Fuzz comes in a Phase 100-sized box, with a turquoise finish reminiscent of Jim Dunlop's Jimi Hendrix Fuzzface.
